REFUND POLICY

I accept the following terms for my own entry. I also accept the terms on behalf of any other participants I am entering into this event, all of whom have been provided with a copy of these Terms and accept them:I declare that the information on this form is complete and correct. I understand and agree that I participate in this event at my own risk and that I must rely on my own ability in dealing with all hazards.  I am aware that the function of the Marshals is only to indicate direction and that I must decide if the movement is safe. I agree that no liability whatsoever shall be attached to the Promoter, Promoting Business or Marshals in respect of any injury, loss or damage suffered by me on or by reason of the event, however caused.When paying for your entry you will be given the opportunity to protect yourself against not being able to run for numerous reasons including injury, public transport failure, airline failure, mechanical breakdown, jury service, home emergency, military call up overseas, adverse weather, work relocation - a full list can be found here. This is optional and costs you and additional 8.5%. This covers you for personal cancellation when the race still goes ahead. This insurance is via a third party and not Punk Panther Endurance Events Ltd insurance, and any claims should be made directly to them.We do not offer refunds. However, we will defer your entry to next years race or transfer to another event of the same value within 12 months or allow you to transfer your entry to another person. Any changes to your entry must be done through us via email to admin@punkpanther.co.uk. You may only make one deferral/transfer per entry.

Please note that in addition to the above we do not offer personal injury insurance or income protection, your participation in our events is on the understanding that we cannot be held responsible for any injuries or loss of income that may result from taking part in one of our events. If you require this additional level of cover, you must organise it yourself.

Included in the Terms is your agreement to abide by the following rules, failure to do so may result in time penalties or disqualification at the discretion of the Race Directors.

Rules

Support/Safety runners (exception guide runners) must be self-sufficient and are not part of the race. They may not use checkpoints and must not carry any of your equipment. Failure to adhere to this rule may lead to disqualification. Further details are available on the website under important information.

No deviation of more than 500 meters from the route (this will be checked on trackers) if you go off track by mistake you must return to where you left it, otherwise you with risk a time penalty or disqualification at the Race Directors' discretion.

You can get supplies on route either from shops/pubs/friends/relatives.

Please make sure your support crew watch you on the trackers and don’t wait for longer than necessary blocking narrow Dales roads whilst waiting for you on the course.

Close all gates and leave no litterIf you arrive at a checkpoint after the cut-off your number and tracker will be removed and you will be retired from the event.

If you have to retire and arrange your own transport you will still need to report to a checkpoint or the finish to return your tracker.

Failure to return your tracker by the close of the event will incur a £2.50 daily charge until returned, if lost the fee is £150.

Punk Panther Endurance Events Limited have Public Liability Insurance but not individual Accident Insurance (which must be taken out privately if you require it) Entry is at Competitors own risk and Punk Panther Endurance Events Limited will not be held liable for any injuries incurred during or as a result of the event. All Competitors agree to this as a condition of entry via a Disclaimer when signing up for the Event. You are recommended to take out your own personal insurance if you require it. Your entry details including medical declarations will be shared with the Race Director and Event Medical Team, and any other Medical Professional that may be involved in your care should it be required. This information will be destroyed after the event has concluded.
